WARM WELCOME AT THE WARTBURG
Residents at the Wartburg Meadowview Assisted Living Facility were treated this afternoon to a recital of 24 pieces by 19 talented kids ranging in age from 3rd grade to 10th – followed by our very own Ellen Weiss performing some Gershwin on voice and piano.
Everybody played beautifully, and we received great feedback.
ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL FESTIVAL - THANK YOU!
The 17th Pelham Music Festival took place last Saturday and was another great success.
We'd like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation of our amazing community of performers, families, and music teachers (Pelham schools and private); founders, Bob & Lauren Eicher; sponsors Steinway & Sons and Pelham Civics; piano accompanists Nely Burla, Amir Farid and Sheila Simpson; intersession performers Marcia Bean, Andrew Dolgon and Amir Farid; Pablo Reyes and the staff at Pelham Country Club; Frank Ramunno of Lasting Impressions Photography; the PMF organizing committee (past & present) and team of volunteers; and everyone else who stepped in to make the day such fun.
We look forward to seeing you next year!
PMF REHEARSAL OPPORTUNITY -- 3:30-8PM TODAY
As in previous years, performers may come to the Pelham Country Club for a brief rehearsal in the recital space the evening before the Festival, to help them prepare.
This rehearsal opportunity is provided between 3:30pm and 8pm on a first come, first served, basis; no appointment is necessary - just turn up and wait your turn.
A Pelham Music Festival volunteer will be on hand, if you have any questions.
DRESS CODE
We've been asked about dress code, so hope the following guidance - and photos of some of last year's performers - is helpful...
PERFORMERS: Please dress appropriately for a formal performance (definitely no jeans or sneakers).
EVERYONE ELSE: Pelham Country Club has a dress code that precludes t-shirts, jeans and sneakers. We would ask you to please respect this.

OSBORN RECITAL WENT REALLY WELL
Sunday’s recital at The Osborn went really well, with over 20 young musicians, aged 8-17, performing for the elderly residents. We received a lot of very positive feeback!
