February 4, 2012 ~ Pelham Country Club.
The Festival is open to instrumentalists, vocalists,
soloists and ensembles playing any style of music,
including original compositions (We regret, however,
that the Festival can not accommodate amplified music).
Every participant will have an opportunity to perform
on February 4th and
will receive a photo of their performance immediately
following their recital session. The Pelham Country
Club will be available the evenings of February 2 & 3 for
rehearsal.
The Festival will again sponsor several opportunities
for our students to perform at local healthcare facilities
during January. These recitals will each be organized
to last about 60 minutes and the facilities are really
excited to be hosting our kids. There is a sign up
sheet providing the information about these dates as
part of the Registration Form. Please indicate your
preferences.
Steinway and Sons graciously provides the pianos for the
Festival. Performers are responsible for supplying all other
instruments and any required accompaniment.
Please complete a separate registration form [ Solo/Duet | Ensemble ] for each child. The registration deadline
is December
9, 2011. Registrations are accepted on
a first come first served basis. There is a $40 fee per solo/duet
($50 per ensemble) and needs based financial assistance is available.
Each participant will receive two guest tickets.
Additional Festival tickets may be purchased for
$10 with the registration form or at the Festival.
Donations, benefactor and sponsor support is welcomed and
all gifts will be recognized in the Festival Program. Pelham
Music Festival is a nonprofit corporation and donations are
tax deductible. Volunteers are also needed and welcomed. If
